The Red Bull pit at Infineon Race way in Sonoma. My good friend Peetree got tickets to the Indy race there this last weekend and it was pretty intense. Hot but worth it, a lot of driving since I went back to Chico that night, but a great experience. Quite loud as well.  Posted by Picasa

Techno

The thing I think people misunderstand about grading techno is that there are a few levels by which an electronic song reaches greatness. That is, of course, true with almost every musical form. But what changes between musical forms is what those levels consist of.

It would take me too long to research and relate the nature of how classical music is most often scored by experts. But it would be a worthwhile project I might have to embark on.

But, in short for now, Electronica reaches its highest marks when it excels in sound creation and arrangement. Sound creation is the creative use of electronic equipment and software to invent sounds that have not been heard before. This is the genius of The Crystal Method. Arrangement is perfected when the sounds are arrayed in an interesting, possibly new, pattern or when the interchange of various sound patterns is especially significant. The Prodigy makes a good example for this element.

First Network

First post from the new network, very fast, so kudos go to both SBC and UPS for getting my gear and service up and running a whole three days early. From my standpoint, not a day too soon either. Missed the net and everything I have become accustomed to...

Good to be back

Had to post on more because it looks so good. Fie to anyone who says by the time this game comes out it will be outmatched. Possibly in engine form, possibly. But I have always loved this franchise and will continue to do so barring some deep error that would cause some sort of melt down in my esteem for UT.  Posted by Hello

Screenshot of the upcoming and eagerly awaited game UnrealTournament 2007. There may have to be some prescription drugs used to keep me in my seat waiting for this game. Wow... delicious.  Posted by Hello

Geocaching - The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site

Just putting this as an official reminder to make sure and do this during summer. Phylah is here and we are going to BBQ it up with the 707 crew and the 530. Going to be awesome, I will have to blog on this later, but that is another topic.

Elgin Marbles

Official bulletin: Logical Gambit's Choice waters are in this order:

1)Smart Water - the best tasting by far
2)Evian
3)Fiji

That is all - a good list to be sure, have to make a check to see that we are well stocked. I am still relying heavily on my PuR Water filtration system, one year running with the filter and it all tastes great.

Google Maps - Folsom,CA Calvary

Google Maps - Folsom,CA Calvary

Two links for Google's amazing photo imaging. From here I can get to pictures of my home church and from there is it easy to find my house.

Had to post this because the game is simply amazing and I have had a great many good times playing it with Phylah.  Posted by Hello

Editing

Started work today on editing for Bob. He was kind enough to ask my help in starting his online devotional email. Something like a subscription where a short, page length email is sent out. When I get the link I will post that so it can be checked out.

By page though I must make it clear that that means less than one page on a screen without scrolling. The idea is no one will have to scroll down to read because that tends to make people not want to read.

We had a meeting Monday about it which went very well, although, in editing I feel like I have too little to say. I need to work on discovering what someone wants from me and the ability to give them more appropriate feedback at the moment.
