Expedition
A snapshot of my expedition to Bear Hole in Bidwell's Five Mile Park. Actually we were just before Bear Hole in our own little grotto. It was an exciting trip, worked the legs a little too because we parked down near a landing called Alligator Hole then hiked up a little. Although most serious hikers would probable consider it a mild walk, but you gotta start somewhere (this blog has now been reduced to 98% cliche free).
The water was excellent, clear and cold. Little wild life scurried here and there and we saw a couple of very sizable fish, at least by my standards. It was serene, full of adventure, and the day's heat was gloriously mild. We went as a "must do before we leave Chico" type event, but I think it might deserve another run, especially if we are privileged to have company.
