Computer slang

A parent's primer to computer slang

This slang dictionary is a good find from the crew at Google Groups Sacland. Everything seems to be represented in the basic fashion and I think the heart was in the right place in writing the piece. Parents don't have to be hip, but they need to be aware.

I wonder what earlier equilavents were. Did parents have circulating news fliers that had articles on discovering the secret language of HAM radios so as to make sure their son or daughter was not a spy or communist subversive?

Breaker breaker the Chicken is in the Coop - or is that Trucker CB? HAM radio, it didn't go underground, it went on the road.
